Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bright Forecast Financial collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short. We mean what we say.

Effective: April 29, 2026

Note for clients and prospective clients: This is the privacy notice for visitors to brightforecastfinancial.com. If you become a client, you will receive separate privacy notices from Bright Forecast Financial and from Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (our broker-dealer) and Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc. (our RIA) governing the privacy of your nonpublic personal financial information under federal Regulation S-P.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out the contact form, you provide your name, email address, message, and (optionally) your business revenue range and stage. When you take the Blind Spot Assessment, you provide your answers to eight questions and, at the end, your name, email, and (optionally) phone number. When you book a 15-minute call through our scheduling link, you provide the information required by Microsoft Bookings to set up the meeting.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses standard server logs and a small number of functional cookies provided by our hosting platform (Netlify) to operate the site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or behavioral analytics scripts on this site.

2. How we use your information

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with marketing partners, data brokers, or affiliated firms for their marketing purposes. We do not add you to a drip email sequence without your explicit opt-in. If you contact us once and never again, we will not send you newsletters, sales emails, or unsolicited follow-ups.

4. When we share information

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

5. How long we keep it

Inquiries received through the contact form and Blind Spot Assessment results are retained in our email and form-handling systems indefinitely so we can serve you well in any future engagement. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 7).

If you become a client, the retention of your nonpublic personal financial information is governed by our advisory firm and Cambridge's record-keeping requirements under federal securities and tax law, which generally require retention for several years after the end of the relationship.

6. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit and stored on Netlify's infrastructure with their security controls. Internally, only the three partners — Caden Lee, Joe Bozo, and Jordan Olson — have access to inquiries and assessment results. We do not have an intake team, junior layer, or assistant filter; your information is read by a partner and no one else.

7. Your choices

You can:

For any of the above, email privacy@bright-forecast.com.

8. Children

This site is intended for adult business owners and prospective clients. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Effective" date at the top and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be flagged in a banner on the home page for at least 30 days.
